Recreate Responsibly Idaho

Residents must recreate responsibly, keeping travel to a minimum and staying as close to home as practical. Those who want to recreate outdoors should consider carefully before traveling outside of their home county. Residents are advised to be self-sufficient, bringing all of the food, beverages and other supplies they need with them, to minimize contact with the community around any destination.

Blaine County Recreation District (BCRD)

BCRD offers this summertrailink as an online tool that can highlight for the community all trails in the valley, which ones are open, and status on those trails. While their programs and services at the Community Campus are closed, they are offering free Zoom fitness classes and their instructors have compiled fitness resources to share with our community.  The class schedule and resources document are here:

Wood River Trails Coalition facilitates the work of maintaining and improving cycling, hiking, and riding opportunities in the Wood River Valley. They have collated quality information on accessing our great outdoors in this time of COVID-19 and throughout the year.

Various gyms and fitness practitioners offer free video classes at this time.

Sun Valley Wellness Festival has created a Directory gathering a listing all of yoga & pilates studios, gyms, practitioners, recovery groups, etc that have offerings in Blaine County, and a Calendar of all offerings by day. They are in the process of adding to it. If you have an offering, please contact them.
